Summertime means all the fairs and festivals, which is right up my alley. I live right by Chicago’s Old Town and spend most of my time hanging out there, so I was super pumped when I heard the Old Town Art Fair was happening.
My friend Ellen joined me to wander the different vendors at the fair. Of course the first stop was at the beer/wine tent for a crisp, cold glass of rosé. We weren’t fancy enough to make any purchases but loved seeing all the work from local artists. So much talent! I’m sure Bri’s work would have all sold out if it was there. Have you seen this girl’s artwork? It’s AMAZING. I pretty much want every piece for my apartment.
Do you believe in fate? Don’t worry, I’m not going into some romantic bullshit. This dress purchase was fate. I saw it a couple times while stopping in Anthropologie and thought it was something I’d totally wear. I’m honestly not sure why I never tried it on. Thankfully, I saw it on the sale rack when I was visiting my parents in Michigan and couldn’t say no any longer. (It’s still on sale and available online. Linked here and below!) I styled it with these white bow mules that I’m obsessed with. They’re definitely not long distance walking shoes <ahem, blisters> but HOW CUTE ARE THEY?
A quick [and exciting] update regarding Blonde and Bailey
I’ll now be sending out emails when posts go live – yay! If you want to get the updates, just submit your email here. There’s also a link on the homepage to sign up.
I mentioned this in my last post, but I’m also including more links moving forward so you can shop my style. I added a cute little shop widget with outfit items (if they’re still available) and other pieces for similar looks. Just click what you like and it’ll take you to where you can get it!
