I already know what you’re thinking. “Where on earth have you been, Hannah?” I abandoned my blog for a bit; I’m the worst. I’ve been feeling so guilty about not posting, as if I was ghosting y’all. And trust me, I HATE ghosting. With school, work and my assistantship, I’ve been scrambling to find time to fit everything in and unfortunately Blonde and Bailey took the back burner for a bit. But I’m baccckkk.
I don’t even know where to stay re: life lately, so I’ll just go right to my recent trip to Traverse City. One my brother’s best friends got married there, and the whole family made the trip up north for the festivities. My brother lives in Grand Rapids, and I don’t get to see him as much as I’d like to so it was great to see him and all his friends. Apparently some of his friends were told we were twins, which is super funny considering I’m about 5’5″ and he’s over 6″ and a much larger human than me. He’s also two years older — not twins. 🙂
My parents and I did some exploring around Traverse City during the day Saturday. Unfortunately the weather sucked all weekend but we managed to snap these pictures in between the rain (and burgers).
I wanted to style casual fall look for the day, and decided on this layered outfit. This vest has been one of my fall staples that I can’t get enough of. I love how versatile it is; I style it with jeans and shirts like this look but also skirts and dresses. I wasn’t too cold out so I figured I’d wear these shoes one last time before I put them away and swap them out for my cognac booties. Yay, fall! (Yes, I finally picked up four fall candles so I’m over mourning summer now. LOL)
