You know what makes me happy? Seeing Andrea (of Blonde Bedhead) AND Bri all in one day. Honestly, these two gals mean the world to me. Since they both live in Michigan, I cherish any minute I get to spend with them. When I found out Andrea was on the west side of the state when I was, we had to grab coffee and snap some photos. We spent a bit catching up at a table outside of Madcap Coffee since the weather was so beautiful while James got impatient that he wasn’t getting enough attention.
I bought these floral pants from Aritzia this spring when my mom was in town for a girls weekend, and I can’t enough of them. (If you haven’t checked out the *newer* Aritzia location in Gold Coast, do it! I love how bright and big this one is vs stores in the mall.) I styled them with a red crop top for a party in May but equally like how they look with just a black bodysuit. They definitely can even be dressed up for a work outfit, too. I’m a big fan of floral jumpsuits, so I can’t believe this is my first pair of floral pants. I styled them with these black sandals, but I think they’re super cute with a pair of wedges as well.
I know I’ve talked about it before, but I’ve really been loving on my Beachwaver lately. I usually curl it and then brush it out for waves like this. I love how effortless it is to get this wavy look. Bri and I used it all weekend, and of course I left it at her apartment and have been missing it. Thankfully my brother lives in Grand Rapids and is going to pick it up for me before he comes to visit Chicago this weekend. My parents, brother and his sweet girlfriend Kailie are all coming to town for my MBA graduation. I can’t wait! xx
