Bachelorette Party

It’s a short and sweet post today because I’m honestly still a little exhausted from this past weekend. I traveled to DC to celebrate the beautiful bride-to-be Kristen and figured I’d share some of the photos and planning details with y’all.

We had the most adorable Airbnb house for the weekend. I’m a little embarrassed to say I haven’t used Airbnb before (late to the game, I know) but it’s so convenient when you have a big group. Not to mention, the exposed brick white walls were to die for.

I’m not going to lie, planning a bachelorette party was so intimidating to me. I’ve never even been to a bachelorette party before and I didn’t want to let the bride or nine other guests down. Thankfully Kristen and I had a team approach to the whole weekend, especially since I’m not super familiar with the DC area. I ordered all the decorations (all from Amazon, Prime FTW) ahead of time and had them delivered to Kristen’s house in Baltimore so I didn’t have to travel with it all.

I wish you could have seen me in the Trader Joe’s buying all the groceries for the weekend. I’m laughing at myself thinking about it. Snacks on snacks on snacks. I’m pretty sure my three bags weighed more than me and I don’t know how I didn’t drop one in the POURING RAIN.

It was really helpful to figure out the must haves and plan the weekend around those. Kristen really wanted to do a mixology class so that was one of our biggest priorities. I’m so glad it worked out (and our instructor was able to do a class at our house!) because it was so fun. I’m feeling a little confident in my bartending skills, so who wants to come over for some rooftop deck drinks? Bride tribe pink cups for bachelorette party

What else did we do? Slumber party, Soul Cycle, brunch, dinner, bowling, mimosa bar, exploring, Momofuku Milk Bar and more! It was definitely a packed weekend.

How to plan a bachelorette party

It seems like Kristen and I have been going back and forth planning the bachelorette for so long now that I can’t believe it’s over and the wedding will be here in no time. Can’t wait! I’ll share one of my outfits from the weekend on the blog later this week. xx
