Spring is in full swing, which means I’ve been taking advantage of any opportunity to wear a dress with bare legs. It’s feels so freeing after having to wear pants and tights all winter long, and it’s fun to change things up.
Andrea (of Blonde Bedhead!) was in town last weekend for the Renegade Craft Fair, which seemed like the perfect time to debut this new Madewell dress. Andrea is pretty much one of my most favorite people ever, so I knew it was going to be a great day. We got to catch up on life, eat walking tacos and check out all the cute vendors. All wins in my book.
Let’s talk about the outfit.. Spoiler alert: This dress is actually a cover-up. I knew it was a cover-up when I tried it on but figured my style is my own and it’s not like anybody would know. Until now, ya know, since I’m telling all of you. Shhh! You could also just consider it a 2-for-1 deal and style it both ways. 😉 Style tip: Size down. The cover up is meant to be pretty big and baggy, so if you’re going to wear it as a dress you’ll want to go down a size or two depending on your desired fit. I thought the bandana added the color pop that the outfit needed and looked great with the neckline.
